University Police released a timely warning Monday stating a sexual assault occurred in Kentucky Hall in the Boothe Residential Village on Aug. 22.  According to the release, the victim reported they met the alleged assailant using a dating app. The suspect is male and is not student. No further details were provided to police.

Choral director steps down after sexual harassment investigation

SOTA Choral Studies Director Dr. Randy Pennington resigned on Friday after a university investigation found he violated its sexual harassment policy. Four students and a faculty member brought concerns to the university last October, and Pennington was put on administrative leave pending a Title IX investigation on Oct. 23.
