Women’s Basketball gains a 2-0 win streak against Oakland

NKU Women’s Basketball team faced off against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies and defended their home-court with a score of 72-50 win. In conference play NKU now stands at 5-4, while Oakland women’s basketball team drops to 1-8.

NKU Men’s basketball team tamed the Milwaukee Panthers Saturday night at BB&T Arena 73-60, adding to their streak of Horizon League wins. NKU now sits at 8-1 and 18-4 overall. Milwaukee drops to 9-13 overall and 4-5 in the league.

The Women’s basketball team wins the battle against Detroit Mercy 68-56. Now moving the Norse to 4-14 over the season and 3-5 in Horizon League play. Detroit Mercy falls to 3-16 in the season and 1-7 in conference play.

Men’s Basketball defeats Green Bay 87-65

The NKU Men’s basketball team defeated the Green Bay Phoenix Thursday night, 87-65. NKU remains in first place in the Horizon league standings with the win and moves to 17-4 overall and 7-1 in Horizon League play. Green Bay moves to 10-11 overall and 4-4 in the Horizon League.

Over the weekend NKU’s cheer and dance team made a trip down to Orlando, FL to compete in the 2019 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading & Dance Team National Championship.

NKU’s women’s basketball team loses to Youngstown State 77-66. The Norse fall to 3-14 overall and 2-5 in the conference. Youngstown now sits at 14-5 for the season and 6-2 in the Horizon League.

Norse move to 6-1 in the Horizon League with 82-74 win over Youngstown State Saturday afternoon. The Norse are now 16-4 and Youngstown State falls to 6-15 overall and 2-6 in the conference.

Women’s basketball falls to Cleveland State 76-47

The NKU women’s basketball team couldn’t seem to find their footing on Friday morning against the Cleveland State Vikings, losing the game, 76-47. The Norse fall to 3-13 on the season and 2-4 in the Horizon League, while Cleveland State improved to 7-11 overall with a 4-3 conference mark.
Womens basketball will play UC Wednesday night in Truist Arena.

Norse fall to Wright State 61-55

The NKU women’s basketball team fell short to Wright State on Saturday by a score of 61-55 at BB&T Arena. The loss for the Norse puts them at 3-12 overall and 2-3 in Horizon League play.
