Alwin Komolong dodges a Bowling Green defender. The Norse lost to BGSU 2-1

The Norse men’s soccer team will faceoff against Detroit Mercy Titans for their final regular season home game at 7:30 p.m.. The Norse are coming off of a 1-0 win against Belmont last week.

The Titans are 2-8-4 on the season with 12 goals across their 14 matches, 9 of the Titans goals have come in the first period of play. An offensive force for the Titans are Spiro Pliakos and Tommy Bowman who have three goals and an assist each.

The Titans goalkeeper, Robbie Beckwell, is also second in the Horizon League in saves with 54 and averaging 4.5 saves per game.

The Norse look to come off of this last weekend win over Belmont with Owen Betz being named Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week. Betz is now at three shutouts in five of his collegiate appearances.

After this home game the Norse will have a three game road trip to end their regular season.
