Speaking of Jessica Alba, she's been taking her role as a blind violinist in the upcoming movie "The Eye" very seriously, OK! Magazine reports. "I've been training," she told OK! at the Jan. 24 launch of shoe designer Rickard Shah's Icon Collection. "I wear a sleep mask and carry a cane to get around with. I've also been practicing the violin; it's hard! It took me three months to figure out!" Wow, Jess! If you mastered one of the most difficult instruments in creation in three months, maybe you're in the wrong business.
British king of romantic comedy Hugh Grant may be carrying a torch for ex-flame Liz Hurley, who's set to marry in March, Star Magazine reports. In fact, Grant's girlfriend, Jemima Goldsmith Khan, is pressuring him not to attend Hurley's wedding, for just that reason. "He's been really grumpy lately," a source said. "He won't come out and say why, but I think everybody knows why: Liz will be off the market in March." Added the source, "I believe Liz was the love of his life, his inspiration, his muse, his everything." Even though the couple's relationship spanning more than a decade ended in 2000, Grant was named godfather to Hurley's 4-year-old son Damian, and he left their film company, Simian Films, only last year.
