Students participate in a card game at Casino Night, part of APB’s Student Union Festival.

For the fourth year in a row Homecoming 2014 kicked off with the Nearly Naked Mile. During the mile, clothing items were shed and collected to benefit the Brighton Center.

This year the Yell Like Hell event followed the mile, in which each organization participating let out a two minute maximum chant. The organizations are sanctioned into three categories throughout Homecoming Week, black, gold and white.

Saturday night brought Casino Night to the Student Union Festival. Each room featured varying games, card tricks and even jugglers.

The talent show immediately followed the casino activities.

The Gala this year featured a red carpet enhanced with paparazzi to set the Hollywood mood of the Homecoming theme ‘Lights, Camera, Norse Up’ on Wednesday night.

Throughout the week Canstruction will be collecting cans for the Brighton Center.

Thursday through Saturday will feature two basketball games, the announcements of the Homecoming court winners, step show and an alumni chili cook-off.
